The dates of March 6-8th marked our first “Winter Leadership Program.”
There was a small group of 17-21 year old young adult burn survivors who together with our group leaders had a very nice weekend.
The following speakers, Bill Ester (Ester Enterprises) Ben Rodriquez (Madison, Dean of Letters and Sciences) along with Terry Ray (MATC, Career Counselor) gave us all some insight as to achieving their own personal backgrounds.Their presentations gave us all the courage to let nothing stop us from obtaining our dreams!

The wheels were turning at the above get-together! Burn Survivor, Jeff Jordan and his group consisting of:Mahlon Mitchell, Jimmy Ahn and Doc Schneider came up with this revised Camp Mission Statement:
“CAMP GIVES BURN SURVIVORS A FAMILY AND NETWORK OF ENCOURAGEMENT AND SUPPORT.TO GIVE CAMPERS THE COURAGE AND PERSEVERANCE TO USE THEIR EXPERIENCES TO MAKE POSITIVE DECISIONS THAT WILL LAST A LIFETIME!”
